Soga has commenced a project to develop, configure and implement a Web-Based Integrity Status Reporting system for PTTEP, Thailand.

 

18th April 2008  Soga Commence Consultancy Work for ADMA-Opco 

Soga have commenced 2 projects for Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, including the development of integrity management strategy documents for pipelines, pressure systems, wells, lifting equipment, critical safety equipment, and structures and configuration, implementation and population of Anomaly Management system for all equipment types.

Soga (with partners) mobilized an inspection system and personnel for the 2008 Underwater Inspection Campaign for Shell Philippines Exploration.  The Campaign workscope includes the inspection of a concrete gravity structure, two pipelines, two flowlines, a CALM system, and the sub sea production system.  The offshore project is scheduled for about 2 months.

The SEPCo version of IMSA-3 (.Net / Oracle) version has gone live.

19th March 2007 – SNEPCO IMSA Phase 1 Kicks Off  

Soga today commenced a project to implement IMSA for Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company.  The scope of the initial phase will cover the subsea assets and pipelines for the Bonga Field.  Target go-live for this phase is November 2007.

17th January 2007 – Soga secure new 2 year contract with SPEX 

Soga have been awarded a new 2-year contract to provide Integrity Management Services to Shell Philippines Exploration.  The contract includes the following elements: Integrity Management Consultancy, Software Development, Software Maintenance, Enhancement and Support and IT Consultancy.  On completion of this new contract, Soga will have been providing these services to SPEX uninterrupted for 7 years.

 

5th January 2007 – Soga Commence Development of IMSA-3  

Soga today commenced the development of a fully rebuilt version of the successful Integrity Management Software Application (IMSA) for Shell.  The new version will be built on a .Net platform and Oracle database.  The project is sponsored by SEPCo.

 

1st January 2007 – Soga Commence Development Work for Shell ExPro (UK)  

Soga today commenced the development of Project Management and Document Control software application for ExPro.

 

2006

 

20 December 2006 – SPEX 2006 RBI Study Completed

Soga have completed the 2006 RBI study for the Malampaya pipelines and underwater assets using the IMSA software.  This study will form the basis of the 2007 inspection campaign.

 

1st November 2006 – Soga Commence Development of Management of Change (MoC) Tool for SPEX

Soga today commenced the development of a Web-Based MoC application which will be used by SPEX to control their MoC process and records.

 

29th September 2006 – Soga Complete Phase 2 of anomaly management work for BP Indonesia 

 

1st July 2006 – Soga commence data loading work for SEPCo 

Soga today commenced loading of historical chemical monitoring data into IMSA for SEPCo.

 

15th June 2006 – Soga Commence Phase 2 of anomaly management work for BP Indonesia

As a follow-on to previous work which was recently delivered, Soga today commenced assessment of several thousand more anomalies raised during recent inspections.

 

1st June 2006 – Soga Commence integrity audit for Middle East client

Together with partners, Soga today commenced an audit of the integrity of assets for a client in the Middle East.  Duration is 3 months.

 

5th May 2006 – Soga roll out updated IMSA version and carry out further training for SEPCo 

Soga today rolled out an updated version of IMSA incorporating improvements recommended by SEPCo.  Also today, Soga completed 2 days of further IMSA user training at the SEPCo offices in New Orleans.

February 2006 – As Built Survey of Newmont 48” HDPE tailing Pipeline

Soga (with partners) completed an as-built survey of the newly installed 48” High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) tailings pipeline located at PT Newmont’s mining operations in south west Sumbawa, Indonesia on the 26th and 27th February 2006.

 

3rd February 2006 – PTTEP Underwater Inspection Database Rolled Out and User Training Completed

Soga today completed the initial rollout of the PTTEP Underwater Inspection Database.  Soga also completed a user training session this week at the PTTEP office in Bangkok.

20th December 2005 – PPMSB 48” Pipeline Integrity and Remaining Life Assessment Completed 

Soga have completed an integrity and remaining life assessment of a 48” submarine crude oil pipeline for PETRONAS Penapisan (M) Sdn Bhd, Melaka, Malaysia.

 

15 December 2005 – SPEX 2005 RBI Study Completed

Soga have completed the 2005 RBI study for the Malampaya pipelines and underwater assets using the IMSA software.  This study will form the basis of the 2006 inspection campaign.

 

23rd November 2005 – SEPCO IMSA Rolled Out and User Training Completed 

Soga today completed the initial rollout of IMSA for SEPCo.  Soga also completed a 2-day user training session this week at the SEPCo training Centre in Louisiana.  This is the first IMSA implementation which has been configured with an Oracle database.  A number of additional functionality and configuration requirements were identified in a supplemental workscope.

 

24th October 2005 – Soga Commence Consultancy work for Premier Oil Indonesia 

Soga today commenced the provision of consultancy services to Premier Oil Indonesia.  The initial scope covers the preparation of inspection workscopes and procedures for underwater assets.

 

20th October 2005 – SMEP RBI Workshop Completed 

Soga have conducted a 3-day Risk Based Inspection (RBI) workshop for Shell Malaysia EP.

 

August-September 2005 – Kerisi Development Project, Flowline Survey 

Soga (with partners) completed an as-built survey of approximately 50km of flowlines for CONOCOPHILLIPS INDONESIA INC. LTD, subcontracted through PT Petrosea – PT Clough JO.  The survey was carried out in conjunction with Fugro Survey and Covus Corporation Pty Ltd (for ROV services) onboard the SMIT MSV Ocean Hercules.

 

26th September 2005 – PTTEP Underwater Inspection Database Project Kicks Off 

Soga today commenced a project to configure, populate and commission a customised Underwater Inspection Database for PTTEP.  The scope of the initial phase covers the jackets and pipelines in the Bongkot Field in the Gulf of Thailand.

 

1st August 2005 – SEPCO IMSA Phase 1 Kicks Off 

Soga today commenced a project to implement IMSA for Shell Exploration and Production Company.  The scope of the initial phase will cover selected subsea assets in the Gulf of Mexico.  Target go-live for this phase is 1 November 2005.

 

17th June 2005 – SEPCO IMSA Feasibility Study Completed 

Soga have completed a 1-week study in New Orleans to determine the feasibility of an IMSA implementation for Shell’s Gulf of Mexico deepwater subsea production systems.  A report was submitted.

 

April 2005 – 2005 Malampaya Underwater Facilities Survey

Soga (with partners) mobilized an inspection system and personnel for the 2005 Underwater Inspection Campaign for Shell Philippines Exploration.  The Campaign workscope includes the inspection of a concrete gravity structure, two pipelines, two flowlines, a CALM system, and the sub sea production system.  The 5 week offshore project was completely early May with the final reports being submitted early August.

21 February 2005 – PTTEP CAIS Project Delivered on Scheduled and Within Budget 

Soga have completed the CAIS Competency Management Project for PTTEP.  The application has been commissioned on the client’s server and the user and assessor training completed on site.

 

31 January 2005 – Soga secure new 2 year contract with SPEX

2004

 

December 2004 – 2004 ExxonMobil North Sumatra 'A' Inspection

Soga (with partners) provided the inspection system and inspection personnel for the 2004 Underwater Inspection of the NSO 'A' Platform and the 102km, 30” multiphase pipeline from the NSO 'A' to the onshore plant. The project was executed over the Christmas and New Year period during the occurrence of the Northern Sumatra Tsunami. The offshore phase of the project was completed successfully mid-January and the final reporting will be completed by the end of February 2005.

 

14 December 2004 – SPEX 2004 RBI Study Completed

Soga have completed the 2004 RBI study for the Malampaya pipelines and underwater assets using the IMSA software.  This study will form the basis of the 2005 inspection campaign.

 

1 December 2004 – Soga start new project for PTTEP

Soga have begun work on a Competency Management System for Petroleum Technology Thailand – Exploration and Production.  The application, called CAIS shall be built from scratch, populated with existing data and commissioned during Q1 2005.  Training of client staff in Thailand will be carried out by Soga.

 

23 September 2004 – SPEX 2004 RBI Study Underway 

Soga have begun work on the 2004 RBI study for the Malampaya pipelines and underwater assets.  This will be followed by the preparation of the 2005 inspection workscopes.

 

1 September 2004 – Review of SPEX AIMS and DevCon Underway

SPEX has formed an AIMS/DevCon review team consisting of Shell staff and Soga personnel.  The team will review the applicability and efficiency of the Asset Integrity Monitoring System and Deviation Control procedure.  The deliverable will be a collection of recommendations for improvement in order to streamline the processes, enhance staff awareness and further improve the usability of AIMS and DevCon.

 

31 August 2004 – 2004 Survey Data Upload Completed

Following the completion of the 2004 Underwater Inspection Campaign for Shell Philippines Exploration, Soga has completed the data upload of 2004 Survey Data into IMSA.  RBI analysis on the data received immediately followed and is currently in progress.

 

5 July 2004 – IMSA Rolled Out for Shell Malaysia

The initial IMSA implementation for Shell Malaysia EP went live today on schedule.  The scope of the initial phase covers integrity management of selected subsea assets offshore Sarawak.

 

31 June 2004 – 2004 Malampaya  Underwater Facilities Survey Completed

The 2004 Underwater Inspection Campaign for Shell Philippines Exploration has been completed. After processing all the inspection results, the data and multimedia were electronically downloaded into Shell's inspection management's system, IMSA, which is used for anomaly assessment, anomaly tracking and risked based inspection planning.

 

12 April 2004 – IMSA Implementation for Shell Malaysia Kicks Off

Soga today commenced a project to implement IMSA for Shell Malaysia EP.  The scope of the initial phase will cover selected subsea assets offshore Sarawak.  Target go-live for this phase is 5 July 2004.

 

31 March 2004 – Competency Assurance Application Upgrade Goes Live 

An upgraded version of the Competency Assurance application developed for SPEX, with several functionality enhancements specified by the client, has gone live on schedule.

 

30 January 2004 – Yetagun Integrity Management Phase 1 Completed

Soga has completed Phase 1 of the Yetagun Integrity Management project, which included delivery of Integrity Management Strategy and RBI Methodology documents for the jackets and pipelines.  Phase 2 will include rollout of IM software, data loading, anomaly management and RBI analysis.

6 October 2003 – Soga Start Integrity Management Work for Petronas Carigali  

Soga Technologies are providing Petronas Carigali with Integrity Management services for the Yetagun field and associated pipelines.  Phase 1 involves developing and documenting an integrity management strategy and RBI methodology for the pipelines and jackets.

 

1 October 2003 – Two Latest Applications for SPEX Go Live  

The two latest applications developed for SPEX, namely the enhanced Competency Assurance application and the fully web-based AIMS Phase 2, have gone live on schedule.  Web-based AIMS Demo (requires password…please e-mail a password request to info@sogatech.com )

The 1-month IMSA handover period is complete.

14 July 2003 – Deviation Control Database Module Goes Live

2 June 2003 – Deviation Control Database Module

Soga has has completed the development of a web-based deviation control database application which will be integrated into the SPEX Asset Integrity Monitoring System (AIMS).  The application is based on the deviation control procedure and will be used by SPEX to document and monitor excursions from normal operating envelopes.  The application is now undergoing user testing prior to implementation and roll-out.  

 

5 May 2003 – Deviation Control Procedure

Soga has completed work on the deviation control procedure, a document that details how excursions from normal operating envelopes will be managed by SPEX by carrying out risk assessments and identifying mitigating measures to address the potential risk.  The document provides guidelines on how deviations may be applied to various situations.  The document also details the technical authority review requirements and the approval process involved. 

 

7 January 2003 – AIMS Phase 2 Specification

Soga has started to work on the specification document for the Phase 2 implementation of the Asset Integrity Monitoring System for SPEX. The work on Phase 2 will mainly deal with additional reporting categories, charts and reports and other system enhancements such as automatic e-mails and deviation control.

 

2002

 

 21 December 2002 – Integrity Management Documents

Soga has completed a set of pipeline and underwater asset integrity management documents. These documents are a mix of procedures and codes of practice and will become part of the corporate integrity management system for SPEX.

   

17 December 2002 – Process Data Monitoring System

Soga has completed a data interface that monitors process data from the Process Automation System implemented in SPEX. The system uses the PI Data Link engine to extract process data and monitor excursions from normal operating conditions. Excursions detected generate an automatic e-mail to pre-configured recipients using the Event Triggered E-mail system that Soga has also implemented.

   

15 December 2002 – Event Triggered E-mail System

Soga has completed the implementation of an event-triggered e-mail system for SPEX. This is a configurable auto e-mail system, which monitors data from various databases and generates automatic e-mails when pre-defined conditions are met.

 

29 November 2002 – 2003 Work scope Submitted

Soga have produced the draft work scope for the 2003 inspection of Malampaya Pipelines and Underwater Assets. The Soga supplied IMSA application was used to produce the RBI-based work scope.

 

26 November 2002 – IMSA IT Management Strategy to be Finalized

A prototype application developed by Soga, called IMSA, designed to facilitate the integrity management of pipelines and underwater assets for the Shell Philippines Exploration Malampaya Project is the subject of a workshop to be conducted on 4th December 2002 in order to finalize an IT management strategy for the transition from a prototype to a live system.  

The system has been tested on 2002 survey data and has been used to generate a risk based inspection program, which will form the basis for the 2003 underwater inspection requirements. 

 

18 November 2002 – Web-based Version of ISR Goes Into Beta Testing

Beta testing has been started on the new web-based version of Soga’s Integrity Status Report application otherwise known as ISR. Malampaya operations used as test data set.

 

10 November 2002 – 2002 RBI Report Submitted to SPEX

Soga has completed the analysis of the 2002 underwater survey data and have submitted the 2002 RBI Report for Malampaya Pipelines and Underwater Assets.

 

5 November 2002 – AIMS Phase 1 Handed Over to SPEX/EPIT

AIMS Phase 1 implementation for Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. completed. System has been handed-over to SPEX-EPIT and a maintenance enhancement and support agreement is being finalized, to be put in place through the Primary Healthcare Contract (PHC).

   

5th September 2002 – Earthquake Monitoring System and Web Page Goes Live

Malampaya assets are located in an seismically active zone. Soga have developed a computerized earthquake monitoring system which monitors new seismic events and posts an interactive web page report on the Malampaya.net website.

 

April 2002 – Soga Begins Integrity Management Services Contract for Shell Philippines Exploration (SPEX)

Soga has secured a contract with SPEX to provide Integrity Management Services, primarily for pipelines and underwater assets.

 

April 2002 – Soga Asia Technologies Incorporated

Soga Asia Technologies has been incorporated in the Philippines.  The company has been set up to provide Integrity Management and related services to the Oil and Gas Industry.
